So much to learn, so little time! I often struggle with this as I am trying to constantly improve my language skills. The main difficulty is developing consistent study habits. Unfortunately, life keeps seeming to get in the way. How I wish Youtube were available when I first started studying languages. It's such a wonderful resource! The problem of studying a foreign language, as many of you know, is that once you reach a certain level you seem to reach a plateau. Right now, my goal is to choose a topic every week and I am trying to watch a Youtube video in Chinese Mandarin every day related to that topic. This week, the topic was the universe. I learned a wealth of new vocabulary (names of the planets, terms like nebula, supernova, etc.). Of course, one of the challenges will be to keep this up as a regular study habit.
