Best foods for memory and brain function

What are some of the best foods you can eat to help your memory and brain function? For instance, I've heard apples help stimulate brain activity, and chocolate releases endorphins that make you feel happy.

There are a lot of superfoods out there and we should all probably work a bit harder to make sure we incorporate these foods into our daily diets. some of my favorites are Acai berries, kale, avocado and sardines (I know, I know "yikes canned fish" but served the right way, like on avocado toast they can be pretty good and they are a leading source of omega 3's)
